Hello, this is my free-use template based on the look of OS/2 Warp 3 and 4. The OS/2 window title bar is mimicked with borders and divs, and a small image used for as the icon in the top-left. I originally created this for my page '32-bit Support Report', this is just an attempt at a templated version to make it easier for others to use.
This style's official name is 'OS/3 Warp 10 Salamander' or just 'OS3' for short. The full name is a joke about the time on Voyager where Paris went Warp 10, occupying every point in the universe simultaneously, and upon his return slowly became a salamander (this might sound incomprehensible, that's because it is). Funnily enough, Captain Janeway's actor (Kate Mulgrew) was the MC for the launch event of OS/2 Warp in 1994
This style was made on a base of sadgrl's layout builder, with the background image (blueshift) and header image (OS3header) created by me to suit, all are CC0/Public Domain and free to use/alter with no restrictions or attribution required.
The icon image(s) used were collected from OpenGameArt.org, specifically 'Pixel Icons' by Xevin (text_file, floppy, find, and folder), and 'Browser, diskette and Turn off icons' by Pong Man (browser), which are also all listed as CC0
This template is responsive on mobile and should be functional across any browser platform (I use firefox-derivatives on desktop and mobile, but checked it with a chromium-derivitive on desktop too)
What is needed to use this template as is:
- This HTML page (CSS is included at the bottom)
- The background image (optional)
- The header image (optional)
- The icon images (optional, linked above)
- The Ari-W9500 font (optional)
You can see in this window, there is a sub-sections/options menu, again mimicking the same from OS/2 (File, Edit, Preferences, etc.). These use relative links to jump to different points in the same page. Their use is totally optional, I just made it so my information dense page was easier to navigate. The formatting for it is very specific though...
To get the underline on just the first letter, I placed it inside a span element in order to apply text decoration only to it. This underlining mimicks the keyboard shortcut indicator you would press to open that option on an actual operating system. In keeping with that design idea, the example links above don't underline the same letter (Example1 and Example2 can't both be opened with E, so the second one I underlined x instead). Doing this is totally optional as it won't effect the page at all, it is just a visual touch fitting the theme. I also used two non-breaking spaces between each link (in the html), this was just the easiest way I could get them to space evenly. The span element is also used in applying underline to specific letters on the navbar buttons (which mimicks the OS/2 warp 'Launchpad' menu bar), which again is an optional visual touch.
OS/2 warp was customizable with a lot of colour options. If you want to recolour this style, I suggest looking online for photo or video reference and colour picking. Messing with the borders or divs in this template will likely break the look of it, and/or it's mobile responsiveness, so I really recommend only altering colours. You will find all the colours grouped together in the CSS root for easy template-wide alteration.
You may also want to look around online for other icons to use in the top-left corner box. The ones I used (which are linked in the first section) are all CC0, and there are more icons I didn't use from those collections + across opengameart.org

Any unused windows like this can just be deleted.
There is no warranty included with this style, but I can guarantee this warp 10 won't turn YOU into a salamander.
