Website Credits & Image Index
Comprehensive credits and attribution for my whole site are listed here. Some may also be directly listed on other pages, I just wanted a clear and separate page for all attributions <3
Themes/Layouts/Code
I am not the creator of any of the themes/layouts/code used throughout this site
Zonelets 'Fingerless Gloves' Theme & blogging code This is used throughout the site on all pages except the '32-Bit Support Report'. Marina Kittaka is the creator of the Zonelets blogging code (which is under the MIT license), and the 'Fingerless Gloves theme'. I have only edited some colouring and changed the background image
DOOMVEGA's 'Doors 96' Theme This theme/layout/style is used on the 32-Bit Support Report page with no changes apart from text content. DOOMVEGA is the creator, and Doors 96 is listed on their 'testing range' styles page as free to use and alter, with credit (which I am displaying here and on the page I used it for).
Images not wholly created by me
Background Image The image used as the background on almost every page of this site is from Sadgrl's tiled backgrounds resource page. Not sure if it is copyrighted, so I just act as if it is.
RSS Feed Icon Used throughout this site on multiple pages. I just got this off wikipedia/wikimedia. It's info page lists it's licenses as GPL 2.0/3.0, LGPL, and MPL.
My discoPOTATO2 88x31 button This was kindly created for me by Mycelion. It is a random stock image of a disco with the text discoPOTATO2 across it. Unsure of the licensing, or the stock image used, but this is a non-commercial website anyway so it doesn't matter.
Pixel Tangy This image used on my personal page uses the 'Black Cat' image from the pixel artwork collection 'Cats - Pixel Art' created by the user peony from OpenGameArt.org. I edited the black cat base to have a similar colourway to my cat Tangy. The original work is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, and by extension so is my edit of it (requiring attribution to be made to peony).
Pixel Buffy This image used on my personal page uses the 'Grey Cat' image from the pixel artwork collection 'Cats - Pixel Art' created by the user peony from OpenGameArt.org. I edited the grey cat base to have a similar colourway to my cat Buffy. The original work is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, and by extension so is my edit of it (requiring attribution to be made to peony).
Pixel Yarn This image used on my personal page uses the 'Yarn' image from the pixel artwork collection 'Cats - Pixel Art' created by the user peony from OpenGameArt.org. I edited the yarn image base to have a pink colourway (it was originally green). The original work is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, and by extension so is my edit of it (requiring attribution to be made to peony).
Cinematic F.P.S Games title title image from my cinematic FPS games shrine/catalog page. Both fonts used are from Bitmap Font Pack by ZiNGOT on OpenGameArt.org, which are under the CC-BY-4.0 license
Disco's Quest title title image on my adventure games shrine/catalog page. Two fonts are used; ARIALMTB2 by Puffolotti licensed under CC0, and Pixel art outlined text fonts - 22x32 shaded by Vircon32 licensed under CC-BY 4.0. Both fonts were gathered from OpenGameArt.org
Pi Phone Meme Random crappy meme I 'made' to illustrate how (understandably) odd and bulky some of the bespoke Raspberry Pi mobile phones can be. It only appears in my post 'My Mobile Phone Problem (and potential solutions)'. I pulled the base image ('they dont know' meme) from some template website probably, and edited in the pi phone images. Copyrighted to the original image creators.
GTA DVD cover (personalised) demonstation image used as reference in a post I made about learning GIMP. I did wholly make and edit this image for a friend, and all the photos used are virtual photography taken by me, but the GTA style fonts used are ripped from online and are likely copyrighted.
Stop Doing GTA:DE meme crappy meme I 'made' deriding the GTA trilogy definitive editions and Rockstar in general. Uses images from other sources, copyrighted to the original image creators
Micron Home Office Screenshot screenshot excerpt from PC Magazine 20th Dec 1994, p.194 for my Old Alternative GUIs post
Buttons: Essentially all of the buttons used throughout my site are sourced from other sites and button collections, and often use copyrighted logos. I 'made' a couple of them because I couldn't find any pre-made examples, but again these use (most likely) copyrighted logos, see below.
antiX button literally just the app menu button from the 'antix-magic-large' theme, resized 1 pixel XD.
MX Linux button their .svg logo from their website with basic text on black bakcground
PipePipe button their basly scaled logo from their website, with basic text on their signature maroon colourway
Materialous button their .svg logo from their github with basic text on their signature purple colourway
F-Droid button their .svg logo from their website (which included the text!) resized on their signature white colourway
