Themes/Layouts/Code
I am not the sole creator of any of the themes/layouts/code used throughout this site. Images referenced in this section will anchor link to their entry in the image index below, with license information.
Zonelets blogging code (All Pages): Marina Kittaka is the creator of the Zonelets blogging code (which is under the MIT license). The code is used throughout this site for the following things; populating the Header/Navbar and Footer on most pages, provides the Title and date on all blog posts, makes the Archive page and 'Recent Posts' work, as well as the 'Prev' and 'Next' post buttons.
Zonelets 'Fingerless Gloves' Template (Multiple Pages): The 'Fingerless Gloves' template from Zonelets is used throughout the site on most pages in one of three forms, with the colours edited to suit a background image;
- Main Style: the blue-purple style used on the pages; Home/Index, Archive, Personal, Linux, Links, and all blog posts. The background image is from sadgrl's tiled background resource page.
- Gaming Style: the red style used on the Gaming page and it's sub-pages. The background image is from verycrazy.com's free wallpapers page. Came across the site from a brief pop-up glimpse in an episode of The Net Cafe (I think the Hackers episode).
- Alt-Tech Style: The green/blue style used on the Alt Tech page and all it's sub-pages (the hardware pages). The background image is from sadgrl's tiled background resource page.
DOOMVEGA's 'Doors 96' Theme (32-Bit Support Report Page): This theme/layout/style is used on the 32-Bit Support Report page with no changes apart from text content. DOOMVEGA is the creator, and Doors 96 is listed on their 'testing range' styles page as free to use and alter, with credit (which I am displaying here and on the page I used it for).
Internet Page (Sadgrl's Layout Builder): Sadgrl's layout builder was used to make the layout on the Internet page. I edited the CSS in various ways to mimic what and open window (hence borders and blue window strip) of Yahoo Pool used to look like around 2001 on a Windows ME PC (background colour is the deafult ME wallpaper). I also ripped and edited images from an old photo or two of the yahoo pool interface to get the pool table, avatar, and pool icon, and used some online font generator for the Yahoo! style font. The layout builder is free to use under CC0/Public Domain, as is my layout made with it (however, the images I used contain copyrighted work). **WIP** I will eventually make a sanitized version of this (without references to my username) for others to use freely **
Cooking Page (Zonelets 'Nude' Template): The 'Nude' template from Zonelets is used as the base of my Cooking page style. Inspired by a cafe/diner I used to go to, I edited the colouring/CSS so that the content container looks like the menu, made the Disco's Coffee Lounge banner based on a design from the menu, and made the background image based on the walls and tables. Reference image here. A sanitized version of this style (without references to my username) is available here, for others to use freely.
Images Not Wholly Created By Me
This section includes all images I have not created/sourced from elsewhere for use on my site, as well as images I have created/edited but which contain (likely copyrighted) art/imagery from elsewhere.
Main Background Image The image used as the background on most pages of this site is from Sadgrl's tiled backgrounds resource page. Unsure of copyright/license status, so act as if it is.
Alt Tech Background Image The image used as the background on the Alt Tech page and related subpages of this site is from Sadgrl's tiled backgrounds resource page. Unsure of copyright/license status, so act as if it is.
Gaming Background Image The image used as the background the Gaming pages and related subpages of this site is from a 1997 archive of verycrazy.com's free wallpaper collection. Unsure of copyright/license status, so act as if it is.
Internet Page Images Multiple images used on the Internet page's Yahoo Pool theme contain images I ripped/edited from the old interface. header image, pool outline bottom, pool outline top, and ypool avatar all contain at least some copyrighted material not made by me.
RSS Feed Icon Used throughout this site on multiple pages. I just got this off wikipedia/wikimedia. It's info page lists it's licenses as GPL 2.0/3.0, LGPL, and MPL.
My discoPOTATO2 88x31 button This was kindly created for me by Mycelion. It is a random stock image of a disco with the text discoPOTATO2 across it. Unsure of the licensing, or the stock image used, but this is a non-commercial website anyway so it doesn't matter.
Pixel Tangy This image used on my personal page uses the 'Black Cat' image from the pixel artwork collection 'Cats - Pixel Art' created by the user peony from OpenGameArt.org. I edited the black cat base to have a similar colourway to my cat Tangy. The original work is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, and by extension so is my edit of it (requiring attribution to be made to peony).
Pixel Buffy This image used on my personal page uses the 'Grey Cat' image from the pixel artwork collection 'Cats - Pixel Art' created by the user peony from OpenGameArt.org. I edited the grey cat base to have a similar colourway to my cat Buffy. The original work is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, and by extension so is my edit of it (requiring attribution to be made to peony).
Pixel Yarn This image used on my personal page uses the 'Yarn' image from the pixel artwork collection 'Cats - Pixel Art' created by the user peony from OpenGameArt.org. I edited the yarn image base to have a pink colourway (it was originally green). The original work is licensed under CC-BY-4.0, and by extension so is my edit of it (requiring attribution to be made to peony).
Cinematic F.P.S Games title title image from my cinematic FPS games shrine/catalog page. Both fonts used are from Bitmap Font Pack by ZiNGOT on OpenGameArt.org, which are under the CC-BY-4.0 license
Disco's Quest title title image on my adventure games shrine/catalog page. Two fonts are used; ARIALMTB2 by Puffolotti licensed under CC0, and Pixel art outlined text fonts - 22x32 shaded by Vircon32 licensed under CC-BY 4.0. Both fonts were gathered from OpenGameArt.org
Pi Phone Meme Random crappy meme I 'made' to illustrate how (understandably) odd and bulky some of the bespoke Raspberry Pi mobile phones can be. It only appears in my post 'My Mobile Phone Problem (and potential solutions)'. I pulled the base image ('they dont know' meme) from some template website probably, and edited in the pi phone images. Copyrighted to the original image creators.
GTA DVD cover (personalised) demonstation image used as reference in a post I made about learning GIMP. I did wholly make and edit this image for a friend, and all the photos used are virtual photography taken by me, but the GTA style fonts used are ripped from online and are likely copyrighted.
Stop Doing GTA:DE meme crappy meme I 'made' deriding the GTA trilogy definitive editions and Rockstar in general. Uses images from other sources, copyrighted to the original image creators

Buttons: Essentially all of the buttons used throughout my site are sourced from other sites and button collections, and often use copyrighted logos. I 'made' a couple of them because I couldn't find any pre-made examples, but again these use (most likely) copyrighted logos, see below.
antiX button literally just the app menu button from the 'antix-magic-large' theme, resized 1 pixel XD.
MX Linux button their .svg logo from their website with basic text on black bakcground
PipePipe button their basly scaled logo from their website, with basic text on their signature maroon colourway
Materialous button their .svg logo from their github with basic text on their signature purple colourway
F-Droid button their .svg logo from their website (which included the text!) resized on their signature white colourway

- cookingbg - The background of my cooking page, made in GIMP, attempting to recreate the walls/tables of a cafe. The pink colour is known as 'rosewater', I applied a hue distort for a drywall texture. The wood texture is included in GIMP as 'Wood #2'. The grey texture at the bottom is also included in GIMP as 'Paper', I applied it over the pink base by accident but it actually looked more like the cafe table I was trying to recreate.
