Console History

Nintendo 64 (1998)--> Xbox (2003)--> life/work hiatus--> Xbox One & Switch Lite (2020)--> Xbox Series S (2023). Given a PS4 Slim by a friend (2025).

I don't plan to ever buy any future release consoles, especially not Xbox ones. Everything just keeps getting more expensive and restrictive with no real benefits.

Personal Computer(s)

Growing up, my fam went through several computers. Distinctly remember separate machines for Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, and Vista. I've since had two average laptops across the 2010s to now (Toshiba Satellite & Asus Vivobook).

In 2020 I built a custom gaming PC and am still running that one now. It's nothing special, even at the time, but I never really play new games anyway. Most of my absolute favourites are like pre 2010.

The Greats

Online Mostly: DayZ, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, MOULa, Fallout 76, GTA Online, Conan Exiles, Red Dead Online, Sea of Thieves, SA:MP.

Single Player Mostly: The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Dreamfall: Chapters, Myst Series, KOTOR 1 & 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Civilization 4, GTA: San Andreas, GTA2, Saints Row 2022, Red Faction 1, Blade Runner, Jedi Academy, Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 (2003/4), Battlefield 1942 & Vietnam, NFSU 1 & 2, SWAT4, Unreal II.
